discontiguous rate this definition:
(Adjective) Not contiguous.

(NOTE: I've used this word many times, but all of my spelling and meaning dictionaries do not have it. I see plenty of uses of it on the web, even in ".edu" web sites. It also appears in Wiktionary, which is the only online dictionary I found that has it, but I wouldn't consider Wiktionary to be authoritative.)
Usage: A discontiguous network comprises two major networks.

Gaza and the West Bank are two discontiguous blocks of land.
