The science of Telecommunications and Informatics employed in electronic beacon safety communications between intelligent vehicle technologies, remote vehicles, and road based computational systems.
telematics is a portmanteau word (combination of two words)
"tele" = remotely
"matics" from informatics -similar to telegraph, where tele = remotely, and graph derives from the data structure.
Usage: Telematics safety devices are used to facilitate automatic vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure motorist safety and security communications.
