Definition

Prefex for a number of rare terms pertaining to the penis, most of which were coined by J.E. Schmidt ( Lecher's Lexicon 1967):
-- ithyalgia , a painful erection of the penis.
-- ithyphallalgia , a painful erection of the phallus.
-- ithyfacient , causing the erection of the penis.
-- ithygenic , causing the erection of the penis; said of a stimulus.
-- ithyphallic :
-- a) Pertaining to or causing an erection of the penis.
-- b) Of or relating to the phallus carried in the ancient festival of Bacchus.
-- c) Having an erect penis.
-- d) Pertaining to or involving an erect penis.
-- d) Lascivious; salacious. More rarely, aphrodisiacal.
-- ithyphallicism , the worship of an erect phallus.
-- ithyphallophobia , fear of seeing, thinking about, or having an erect penis.
-- ithyphallos , a figure of the erect penis.
-- ithyphallus , ' J.E.S. ' the erotically rigid genital organ of the male.'
