Definition

underdesigned rate
(Adjective) 1. Some physical item or product in general not adequately designed or prototype developed properly in such a way as to support proper and safe functioning of said item or product thus making it dangerous or even life-threatening to use.

2. Some physical item or product in general that is intentionally or unintentionally designed with flaws thus making it too weak or too inadequate to use properly, or to use with proper safety in mind - such as that of a poorly designed item or product produced in haste.

3. Something having a very low level of proper workable functionality or operational sophistication thus making it less than desirable or of little economic worth, or that which lacks technological sophistication and is usually marketing to or found in underdeveloped countries.

4. In building and/or human living terms its inability to support proper or possible livability within a certain living structure.
Usage: The building collapsed prematurely because it was underdesigned and not up to present building code requirements.
