an increase in the future probability of a behavior occurring following the removal of a stimulus immediately after a response - Used in Applied Behavior Analysis
Usage: The child throwing a fit when given a difficult task was negatively reinforced to continue in that behavior when the child had the task taken away due to throwing a fit.
