Definitions
(Verb) Coastal West Michigan term of contempt used for tourists, known to pass through on their way North for Mackinac Island fudge. Used as far North as Mackinac, and as far South as Benton Harbor/St. Joseph.Usage: "Summer would be great, without the invasion of the fudgies," griped the teenager.
(Noun) Term of contempt used for a tourist in Northern Michigan (and, I suppose, elsewhere.) Cf. snowbird in Florida and Texas.
Usage: Summer would be great without the invasion of the fudgies, griped the teenager.
