(Noun) Novel or manga that involves guy on guy love.(Noun) A genre of Japanese manga or anime that deals in the romantic relationship between two (or more) males. It is typically written by females, for females, although there are a few male authors in this genre. The opposite of yaoi is yuri.
Usage: A lot of young girls are getting into yaoi fandom these days.
