imperialism
Definitions
(Noun) The invasion of a country into another separate country for profit of some type. It could be either by growing or collecting natural resources, or selling a product/service there. Imperialism is also forced upon the society being invaded and often makes civilians less fortunate.Usage: The imperialism of Boers into Africa in the 1600's led the way to South Africa's Apartheid which would continue until the 1990's.
(Expression) Imposing the rules of a country over other countries is called imperialism.
(Noun) A movement for economical, or/and political, or/and strategic gain.
(Noun) taking over or the manner of extending land by terrorism or in a harsh way
