(Verb) A product name that has become synonymous with an activity. As with the name Xerox, which came to mean the activity of making a copy or “to copy”, Performabuilt means to have re-built or re-manufactured a product to a higher level of performance.
Also used as an adjective meaning re-built to a higher level of performance. Mostly used in reference to automotive functions.
