(Noun) The state of being sent to another place instead of being sent to the right destination.A change in the destination of something, made accidentally or on purpose, causing it to be sent to a wrong place accidentally or on purpose.
Usage: My mother's birthday gift wasn't delivered on time. The shipping company, through which I shipped it, apologized and said it was due to an accidental misrouting.
