The two larger, outer lips of the vulva consisting of spongy (fatty) tissue extending from the mons pubis to the perineum and covering the labia minora, clitoris, urethral opening, and vaginal entrance. Just within the labia majora are the thinner, smaller labia minora. Singular: labium majus.
