(Adjective) 1. supersubstantial, superessential. 2. of the world to come, of the future, for the coming day, daily.
(The word epiousios only occurs in the Lord's Prayer in the Gospel according to Matthew and the Gospel according to Luke. The Church Fathers usually define epiousios with the first meaning, but they also use the second meaning, as well as, more importantly both meanings simultaneously.)
