a shoe with tan rubber sole and burlap or croaker sack top. slip on or lace up. worn by southern California gangs of the early to mid 70s.
Usage: i had my khaki slacks leather jacket and croaker sacks on, dressed to kill. (kill is slang for nice)
The definition above is dead on! I wore them, they only came in three colors: black, brown, and dark blue. They where also referred to as "easy walkers". You could only get them at 'hood surplus stores. I used to get my at the one one the southeast corner of King Bl and Vermont, until '79, when I joined the army.
Usage: "Bloods sportin' khakis and croaker sacks."
