(Abbreviation) Radiation Control Program Directors. This is the organization, recognized by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for communication with and feedback from the directors of the various state agencies that control, license, and inspect the use of radioactive materials in their states. Some states have agreements with the NRC to self license and regulate radioactive materials. The states that don't have such agreements and are regulated by the NRC directly.
