Or: prannie , British term of Scottish origin (pran = to crush) in use since the 19 th century for:1. The female genitals. One of many eurotophobic (fear of the female genitalia) metaphors for the vagina viewed as a dangerous hole or mouth. See vagina for synonyms. SEE ALSO: vagina dentata.
2. A mild term of abuse for a fool. ' Dont be such a pranny.'
(Noun) Mild epithet of abuse, typically used in the playground or at school. More likely a portmanteau of prat and ninny or similar than a reference to the female genitalia (fanny).
Usage: Oi -- give me back my pencil case, you pranny!
