Paithani rate
(Noun) A handloom silk sari woven at Paithan and Yeola in Maharashtra, India. Paithani has history of more than 2000 years. The known earlier existence was from Satavahana Era of Paithan and Maharashtra from 200 BC to 200 AD. It was one of the most famous items of trade since ancient times.
Usage: Every bride of Maharashtra wishes to wear Paithani on her day of marriage.
